Trend | Influencer Marketing Software

 
 

As a member new influencer marketing startup, my main responsibility was to grow and engage our community of Instagram content creators. Like many startups, roles are stretched to help the company grow and succeed.

As our lead community marketing manager I was able to use and enhance my expertise over a wide range of activities. This started with managing and growing our influencer community but quickly led to social media, client consulting, content marketing, partnerships and more.

 
 
 
 
 

To increase app downloads, user activity, and user retention I presented the option of gamifying our payout systems for users. With user feedback and collaboration from designers and engineers, we we were able to launch Trend’s tiered payout system.

The end result was three tier levels, each offering a higher payout and faster access to branded collaborations for influencers. This resulted in a sustained increase in app activity, downloads, and influencer content.

Trend would not exist without our community of influencers. Upon joining the Trend team, I was tasked with developing and executing our influencer marketing recruitment strategy as well as consulting with clients to successfully integrate influencer marketing into their overall marketing strategies. 

This included social media, cold email, joining community groups, consulting, developing a referral program, and other low-cost “growth hacking” tactics.

Authentic, engaging content is key to nurturing, and growing authentic relationships with current and potential users. 

While at Trend, I created various pieces of content that included blog posts to inform influencers and businesses, pitch decks to land clients, email campaigns to recruit and engage influencers, and social media posts to help develop our brand and voice.
