It's a billion-dollar market and it's only getting larger. Even high-end fashion companies are trying to make their mark on the industry. Whether you like it or not, sneakers are mainstream. No matter the topic, sneaker culture could make its way into any conversation.

It seems like everyone wants a piece of the industry, but there's few that have reached the heights of Ronnie Fieg. From working in a local sneaker store to owning his own brand, Ronnie has dominated sneaker culture for years. Without question, Ronnie Fieg is one of the industry's most dominant forces. Between his brand KITH, and releases with brands like Jordan, Adidas, Asics, and Coca-Cola, he's not going anywhere.

I say all of this to encourage you to listen to Ronnie's interview with Premium Pete. Ronnie sheds light on his journey in the sneaker and apparel industry, including the hardships that go along with it. This is a great listen for entrepreneurs, creatives, or anyone else that aspires to be a part of something greater than themselves. Enjoy.

According to human resource firm, Robert Half, only 39% of employees attempt to negotiate their salary.  Finding a job that meets all your criteria can be a daunting task. Securing an interview for that dream job can be even more of a pain. After we're able to get the offer for our dream job the last thing we think about is negotiating our salary. Whether is fear that they'll rescind the offer or lack of confidence in our abilities, many thoughts run through our head when debating on if we should ask for more.

This episode of the Breaking Into Startups podcast aims to give you advice on negotiating in any situation. This podcast is centered around entering into tech companies, however, these tips and tricks are transferable to any industry.

The mastermind behind these tips is Melissa Hereford. Melissa has been teaching negotiation tactics for the last 22 years. In this episode she teaches how to negotiate, not only in terms of salary but all aspects of life.
